I have an old 512MB PenDrive . When I bought it few years back, it was considered quite large in size and it’s pretty expensive. It was my first USB flash drive and I really loved it because it’s so convenient. I no longer need to waste time in burning data to CD to bring it out and afraid of scratching the disc. What Impact Does Solar Energy Have On The Environment?
Are there any environmental impacts related to the use of solar energy? Sure there are, but let’s put things into perspective:
The process of manufacturing solar components requires the use of fossil fuels but the end product emits no pollution. The alternative is to use fossil fuel day after day and never stop adding pollution to the environment.
The manufacturing processes and materials used for manufacturing some photovoltaic cells can be harmful to the people working with them. At first this may seem like a reason not to look to solar energy but what about the people who mine coal, or the people who handle spent fuel from nuclear power plants, or what about the harmful emissions from power plants generating electricity. These emissions are destroying our planet.
To generate 20 - 50 megawatts of solar electricity requires about 1 square kilometre of land. This land usage affects wildlife and is another negative aspect of solar energy. But currently we are cutting our forests down at an alarming rate. Many millions of people burn wood to heat their homes. What if we could eliminate just that? That alone would have a positive effect on the environment.
There is a lot of discussion about solar energy and the debate will continue. Lets not let the debate go on until we have used all of our natural resources and destroyed our planet.
Decide for yourself if solar energy is the best alternative for your future energy needs. Don’t rely on information supplied by corporations who have a vested interest in our current energy supplies. If their business relies on selling us their product then they are perhaps not the best source for accurate information.
Many utility companies are researching solar energy and are finding ways to use it today. As consumers we have the power to apply pressure on utility companies because they want our money.

It will be your first dance as husband and wife, and you will be stepping into the spotlight surrounded by your family and friends. Make this moment an expression of yourselves and your love. Take some time to choose a special song and decide how you want to involve your bridal party. If your idea of dancing is the old “stand and sway” from junior high school days, maybe now is the time to work on your dancing skills. Here are some suggestions that will help you make this moment fun and special.
()If you have not yet chosen a song, you may want to consider what type of dance you would like to do and work backwards from there. Would you want the classic romance of a waltz? Or would you prefer a relaxed and jazzy foxtrot? Maybe the exuberant energy of a swing dance or the intensity of an Argentine Tango is more your style. If you enjoy latin rhythms you may like a slow rhumba, or a more lively salsa. A simple slow dance is always an option. Please keep in mind that some dance styles are easier to learn than others, so time may be a factor in your decision.
Will the band be playing your song or will you be dancing to a recording? This decision will also affect what song you choose.() Standards such as “Our Love is Here to Stay”, “It Had to be You”, and “Time after Time” are songs that every jazz band should be able to play for you if you let them know in advance. Just mentioning the title of the song is not enough, however, be sure to tell your bandleader what tempo you would like them to play and for how long. If you have been practicing to a certain recording of your song, be sure to make a copy for your bandleader so that he/she understands exactly what type of arrangement and feeling you are expecting.
Should you take dance lessons to prepare for your first dance together? Don’t take lessons because you feel that some sort of performance is expected out of you. Remember that this is your day and should reflect something about you. However, if dancing together is something that you’ve always wanted to do but never had the time or the nerve, now is a great opportunity. Remember that this will be something that the two of you can share forever. There will always be plenty of opportunities to enjoy your dancing skills- at a friend’s wedding, a fancy function, even a nightclub.
Where should you take lessons? You should be able to find teachers who have experience with wedding couples at your local ballroom dance studio. When you call, ask if that studio has any special wedding packages available. You will probably need to decide if you want to participate in a group class or take private lessons. Group classes are certainly more affordable, but a private lesson will focus only on what you want to learn and go at whatever pace is best for you. There are many types of partner dancing, so make sure that your instructor specializes in working with wedding couples or the dance style that you have chosen. Depending on your location, it is often better to go to the clubs if you are interested in a nightclub dance such as swing, salsa, or Argentine Tango. Many clubs offer lessons before the band plays or the dancing begins. Once you have found a teacher that you feel comfortable working with, be sure to bring him/her a recording of your song if you have already chosen it, so that you will be sure to learn a dance style which is compatible with the music. if you have trouble finding a teacher that you like, or if time and money are considerations, you may want to try learning to dance from a video. The advantage is that you can learn at any time, and in the privacy of your home for less than the price of one private lesson. If either of you feel nervous about dancing, this may be the way to go. There are several videos that cater specifically to wedding couples and their special needs. No matter how you decide to tackle the learning process, remember to be supportive and have patience with each other’s difficulties. The reward will be well worth the effort..

What is Swing?
(,,,,,)Swing music has an infectious accent on the upbeat and makes even non-dancers tap their feet, and snap their fingers. The most elemental definition of Swing dancing, is any style of dancing to Swing music, and there are hundreds of styles. Swing dancing is usually characterized by it’s bounce and energy as well as lots of spins or under arm turns.
The original style of Swing dancing is the Lindy Hop which was named by Shorty George Snowden in 1927 after Charles Lindberg’s famed nonstop flight across the Atlantic.
Known by many for it’s acrobatic moves called arials, Lindy Hop is also danced socially featuring 8 count and 6 count patterns, often with kicking or Charleston steps. Examples of Lindy Hop can be seen in recent movies such as Malcom X or Swing Kids, or older movies like A Day at the Races or Hellzapoppin. There are many different definitions and styles, but when most people refer to basic swing dancing, they are referring to a simplified version of the original Lindy Hop, favoring 6 count moves and also referred to as 6 count swing, east coast swing, jitterbug, and Lindy.
6 count swing can be danced to jazz or big band music from speeds of 110 beats per minute to 300 beats per minute, but most people enjoy dancing to the 120-180 beat per minute range. The 6 count basic can be modified in many ways, but is most common as rock-step, triple-step, triple-step (often referred to as triple time or triple step swing-) or rock-step, step, step (often referred to as single step or single time swing). 6 count swing is easy to learn, especially when done with the single step rhythm. The triple step rhythm is better suited for slower songs, and can be substituted for the single step once you are comfortable with the steps. Swing music and dancing are two of the most important cultural imports of America, learning how to dance can be a great way to connect with a part of our history.

For most of us winter usually means cold temperatures, below zero wind chills, and gloomy skies. Unfortunately, winter also means bulky and unattractive clothing too! For most women winter marks the beginning of a wardrobe filled with tops that are not form flattering and thick pants. Plus sized women have it even worse than the average woman, because most of their clothes are already more bulky and not form flattering. With a little planning and know-how you can look stylish and chick no matter what the temperature is like outside.
First, remember that layers are a great way to beat the cold whether you are outside or in. Eschew thick sweaters and go for thin stretchy layers instead. You’ll find that the closer the layers stay to your skin, the warmer you’ll feel. Look for some stretchy long sleeved tops and top it off with a thin sweatshirt that you can unzip halfway when you’re inside. This is a wonderfully cute look that’s perfect for inside the house and wandering around town when you’re doing your Christmas shopping.
:One thing to do for a bit of style is to try a nice thick pair of opaque tights together with a . Depending on the thickness of the tights and the severity of the weather outside, you may want to go with a shorter with thicker tights. A great way to emphasize your curves and your legs is a nice pair of black tights, couple those with a good pair of weatherproof, sturdy leather boots, and you will bet to look great in any storm. For more warmth you may even try wear some thick tights underneath your trousers. Also, if you have some thin slacks that you want to keep wearing, bring them together with some tights to winterize them.

This is a great style and quite warm; you can go with a basic black wool, or try for something a little more extravagant. Remember to suit your own tastes; if you feel good in it, chances are, you look good as well! For a more sweeping style, think about getting a long wool coat, one that goes down to your ankles. Once again, check the cut. Is there a little bit of flare at the bottom of the coat? Does it fit well without wrinkling? While it is very easy to get a coat that is a bit boxy in this regard, remember to look for one that has a good drape on you; essentially find one that isn’t cut to look like a tube!
